Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
Faith Sparks is a small family-run service. We collect what we need to run accounts, purchases, generated materials, family games, WeekFlow and shared worship workspaces, and we do not sell personal information.
Information we handle
- Account: your Google account email and name, plan and billing status, and usage counts.
- What you make: worksheet choices and custom text, lesson packs, church libraries, services and uploaded media, and WeekFlow plans.
- Family games: the nicknames typed for players, plus scores and progress, saved under the adult's account. Live game rooms keep player nicknames only while the room is open; rooms are deleted automatically within a day.
- WeekFlow: household first names, schedules, meals, travel and care notes you enter, and, if you connect it, read-only Google Calendar events.
- Security and operations: basic request logs and short-lived rate-limit records (email or IP address, kept about a day), used to prevent abuse.
Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by Faith Sparks.
Children
Accounts are for adults 18 or older. Children never create accounts or sign in; they join a game an adult starts, using a nickname. Please use first names or nicknames only. We do not use advertising or measurement tools on game, Labs, WeekFlow, worship or account pages, and we never knowingly send information about children to advertisers. A parent can have a child's nickname and game progress removed by deleting the account or emailing us.
Who processes data for us
- Google: sign-in, Firebase (database and file storage) and, if you connect it, Google Calendar.
- Render: hosting.
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- OpenAI and Anthropic: AI features, as described below.
- Twilio and SendGrid: WeekFlow text and email reminders you choose to send.
- Meta: measurement on our marketing and checkout pages only, described below.
AI features
When you use an AI feature, the content needed for it is sent to OpenAI or Anthropic:
- verse references for worksheets and games;
- custom worksheet text, checked by a safety filter;
- song lyrics you import;
- sermon notes for highlights;
- for WeekFlow AI intake, your note, photo or voice recording plus your household's first names.
We send it without your email address and ask the providers not to keep WeekFlow requests. These providers' business terms say they do not use API data to train their models.
Google user data
If you connect Google Calendar, WeekFlow reads your events (read-only) to show them in your plan, and stores the access token encrypted. We use Google data only to provide this feature to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or let people read it except for security, legal compliance, or with your permission. Faith Sparks' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect it at any time in WeekFlow or from your Google account's third-party access settings.
Measurement
On our marketing and checkout pages only (home, about, browse, Plus and purchase confirmation), the Meta Pixel may receive page views, purchase events, browser information and a one-way hash of a signed-in email, so we can tell whether our outreach works. Automatic button tracking is turned off. Content blockers and browser privacy settings can stop it.
Health and sensitive details
WeekFlow's Medical tab is for logistics such as appointments, refills and forms. Please don't enter diagnoses, medical details, or other sensitive information about anyone; a short label like "Dentist 3:00" is enough.
How long we keep it
- While your account exists: your account data and the things you make.
- A day or less: live game rooms and rate-limit records.
- When you delete your account: your data is removed right away; any backups expire within 30 days.
- Stripe: keeps payment records as tax law requires.
Your choices
- Delete your account at any time from the account menu. This removes your worksheets, lesson packs, WeekFlow plans, game players and church memberships, and cancels any subscription.
- WeekFlow backup: download one from the WeekFlow workspace.
- Anything else: for access or correction, email us.
